| Q: Can you access PCbrew®
remotely?
A: Yes you can. With only a standard Web browser and internet connection, you are able to monitor and control your operation from anywhere in the world! |
Q: Can PCbrew® store
the data for each batch separately?
A: Yes, all the data that is collected is stored locally on the hard drive as ASCII text files. Since PCbrew® runs under a Windows® environment, the data files for each batch can be saved with a meaningful title for archiving. |
| Q: Are there manual overrides
for the valves?
A: Yes, the valves can be opened and closed manually. |
Q: How many Recipes can
be stored?
A: An unlimited number of recipes can be stored. The recipes are stored as a very small text file on your hard drive. |

via dial up?
A: Yes, with our remote access feature the system can be monitored and controlled from a remote location, such as from home, using standard telephone lines. |

time for replacement parts?
A: All parts are stock and readily available. They can be couriered overnight if desired. With Opto's Snap technology, replacing parts is very quick and easy. |
| Q: How many Inputs and Outputs
can PCbrew®
control?
A: PCbrew® can be endlessly expanded. Since each bank of I/O's has it's own "brain" the main processor isn't bogged down by the addition of new I/O's. |
Q: What if I want to add
equipment or instruments to my process?
A: New I/O's just snap into place. When ordered through cemcorp, we will provide new picture screens incorporating the new I/O's at no extra charge. |
| Q: How does PCbrew®
control
a Solenoid valve as if it were Proportional?
A: With Time Proportional Output PCbrew® opens and closes a solenoid valve to mimic a proportional one. This feature is ideal in heating applications and provides a dramatic cost savings. |
Q: Does the system include
sensors and automatic valves?
A: We can supply all valves and instrumentation as desired or solely supply the control system. This depends on each individual's specific requirements. |
| Q: Does PCbrew®
store
the info as a new recipe is being created?
A: Yes it does. As a new recipe is being developed, the evolving recipe can be saved in stages as different files. All of the data gathered as the batch is brewed is also saved to your hard drive thus producing a perfect record of the batch. |
